UL1332 FEP Teflon Wire

UL1332

Product Introduction

UL1332 FEP Teflon Wire

is suitable for fields that require high-temperature ndurance. Application ranges from household appliances, lighting devices, to industrial machines, and high-temperature furnaces.

2025 UL1332 latest standard, the conductor material has been changed to nickel-plated copper wire. Learn more about the reason for switching to nickel-plated copper wire in UL1332.

Feature

  • Nickel-Plated Copper Conductor · Heat & Oxidation Resistant: Upgraded to nickel-plated copper under the 2025 standard — more resistant to 200°C heat and oxidation than tin-plated, staying stable in long-term high-temperature service with superior high-heat solderability
  • FEP (Teflon) Insulation: Resists strong acids, alkalis and organic solvents with low dielectric loss and excellent weather / moisture resistance — ideal for precision electronics and high-frequency signal transmission
  • UL VW-1 Flame Retardant · Made in Taiwan, Customizable: Meets North American vertical-burning safety; AWG 28–10 gauges, wire size and colour customizable, with fast lead times

FAQ

Q1|What is the maximum temperature rating of UL1332 wire? Where is it used?

Rated temperature 200°C, operating range -60°C to 200°C. Suitable for ovens, heaters and heating appliances, plus internal wiring of industrial machinery and precision electronics.

Q2|What certifications and flame rating does this wire carry?

UL VW-1 vertical-burning flame retardant, compliant with IEC 60332-1 and 60332-2, plus RoHS and REACH — meeting North American and EU import and safety-review requirements.

Q3|Is the stated 300V AC the withstand voltage?

No. 300V AC is the rated (working) voltage — the maximum voltage for long-term safe use. Dielectric withstand is verified separately by spark test at 3KV/sec; the two are different metrics.

Q4|What is the conductor material? Can gauge and colour be customized?

The conductor is nickel-plated copper (2025 standard; tin-plated available on request), with FEP (Teflon) insulation. Gauges cover AWG 28–10, standard colours black and red; gauge and colour are customizable.

Q5|What is the MOQ and lead time?

Standard specs are in stock with samples shipped within the week; custom orders depend on gauge, colour and quantity. With in-house manufacturing in Taiwan, lead times are faster than imports — contact sales for MOQ and delivery.
